49ers | Contract update: Keith Lewis

Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports the three-year contract extension signed by SS Keith Lewis will count $766,667 against the 2007 salary cap. Lewis will be paid $1.21 million this season and it includes a $650,000 signing bonus. He is scheduled to earn $510,000, $775,000 and $850,000 in base pay the next three seasons, respectively, with $50,000 each season in bonuses.
