Falcons | Petrino discusses Vick incident
Steve Wyche, of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports Atlanta Falcons new head coach Bobby Petrino addressed the recent incident involving QB Michael Vick, who was cleared of any wrongdoing after attempting to pass through Miami International Airport security with an unknown particulate in a hidden compartment of a water bottle. "I told him I didn't think our first meeting would be under these circumstances, but it was good to get to know him a little bit," Petrino said regarding the face-to-face meeting he and team president/general manager Rich McKay had with Vick last week. "He told me what happened and how it happened, and from that point we decided we're going to get past that. It's unfortunate but we're going to put that behind us and it's hopefully football from here on. I'm really looking forward to moving on."
