Raiders | Team offered Sarkisian a multi-year contract
Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports the Oakland Raiders reportedly offered Southern California offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian a multi-year contract to become the team's next head coach. The deal averaged $2 million per season, but Sarkisian turned down the team. He felt he was not ready to become an NFL head coach, but insiders believe Sarkisian was scared off more by control issues than financial issues.
