NFL | Goodell wants the right to suspend assistant coaches

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will now start reserving the right to suspend assistant coaches and possibly other team officials who get arrested for off-field indiscretions. Goodell suspended Detroit Lions defensive line coach Joe Cullen for Week 16 after he was arrested for pulling into a Wendy's without any pants on while intoxicated. During a recent tour of the NFL, Goodell told team that everyone, including coaches and team officials, should look at the right to be part of the NFL a privilege.
