Chiefs | Gonzalez fumbles Week 16

Elias Sports Bureau, Inc. reports Kansas City Chiefs TE Tony Gonzalez had a fumble during the team's Week 16 game. It was his first fumble in over seven years when he fumbled Nov. 14, 1999, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The fumble also broke his streak of 593 consecutive receptions without a fumble, setting an NFL record for longest such streak by a wide receiver or tight end. Former NFL TE Ozzie Newsome held the previous record with 562 receptions without a fumble.
