Panthers | Carstens working to make return to football
Steve Reed, of the Gaston Gazette, reports Carolina Panthers DL Jordan Carstens (kidney) is working at a return to football next year after being sidelined with a rare kidney disease that will force him to miss the rest of the season. Carstens suffers from a disease called membranous, which limits the amount of protein in the body and can lead to blood clots. If the doctors can keep Carstens' clotting under control, he should be able to make a return to the field.
