Braves | Team not expected to offer Glavine a no-trade clause

Michael Morrissey, of the New York Post, reports Atlanta Braves general manager John Schuerholz is not expected to include a no-trade clause if the team engages free-agent SP Tom Glavine in any contract negotiations. "That's our general philosophy," Schuerholz said. "And we have had Hall of Fame players. Let me repeat: We have had Hall of Fame-caliber players on this team, on this roster, over the 15 years that I've been here. And we've never given out any no-trade clauses." Glavine is expected to require a no-trade clause be included in any contract he signs, which would make his re-signing with the New York Mets more likely.
