White Sox | Shines' exit in Venezuela sends four prospects back home

The Chicago Tribune reports Chicago White Sox prospects Josh Fields, Ryan Sweeney, Sean Tracey and Heath Phillips returned to the United States. All four played on the Venezuela winter ball team managed by Razor Shines, who was recently fired as that team's manager but picked up by the White Sox as the third-base coach. "It's a tough spot," White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen said after the Sox concluded their annual organizational meetings. "We want to help people, but I don't know if these guys were ready. It's a different country, a different culture, a different way of life. It isn't easy."
