Reds | Team could have new pitching coach soon
John Fay, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports the Cincinnati Reds are hoping to have a new pitching coach in place by the middle of next week. The team has interviewed three outside and two internal candidates already, including former Boston Red Sox pitching coach Dave Wallace, former Chicago Cubs bench coach Dick Pole and outgoing Houston Astros pitching coach Jim Hickey. The team has also interviewed Triple-A Louisville pitching coach Ted Power and Mike LaCoss, a roving instructor in the organization's minor leagues.
