Bears | Johnson assumes starting role

Larry Mayer, of ChicagoBears.com, reports Chicago Bears S Todd Johnson will replace S Mike Brown (foot) in the starting lineup now that Brown is sidelined for the season. "You can't really replace a guy like Mike Brown, but someone has to step up," said head coach Lovie Smith. "Todd will do that. Todd has been around and has played a lot of good football for us. And we'll ask some of our other players to take on more of a leadership role."
