Athletics | Ginter could be added to playoff roster

The Oakland Athletics have not yet announced a replacement on the second-round playoff roster for 2B Mark Ellis (finger), but IF Keith Ginter remains a possibility, according to Mychael Urban of Oakland.Athletics.MLB.com. Ginter had filed for free agency following Triple-A Sacramento's season, but he would still be eligible for the ALCS if the team gives him a contract for 2007. In the meantime, he has been sent to Arizona to work out, in preparation for a possible deal.
