Bengals | Looking at Quarterback Options

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports Cincinnati Bengals president Mike Brown said the team is considering adding another quarterback to the mix. One could come through free agency, a trade or through the NFL Draft. Brown said if the team gets strong play from the quarterback position they could be a contending team. The Patriots have recently been linked as one of the teams possibly interested in trading for Patriots' QB Drew Bledsoe. Being about $10.7 million under the salary cap, the team seems to be able to absorb Bledsoe's contract. The team plans to give No. 3 QB Scott Covington a longer look in training camp and have also talked about possibly using their 2nd round pick on QB Kurt Kittner (Illinois).
