Vikings | Longwell named NFC special teams player of week
Vikings.com reports Minnesota Vikings PK Ryan Longwell was named the NFC special teams player of the week for his performance in Week 2. Longwell connected on three-of-four field goals and made the play of the game by tossing a 16-yard touchdown to TE Richard Owens on a fake field goal attempt. Longwell later hit a game-winning 19-yard field goal in overtime.
