Panthers | Gamble or S. Smith will likely handle punt returns

Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports Carolina Panthers CB Chris Gamble or WR Steve Smith will likely handle punt return duties for the team. The team had hoped WR Efrem Hill would win the job, but he never gained the coaching staff's confidence and was released. The team will likely let Gamble get the majority of punt returns and save Smith for critical situations.
