Packers | Peterson getting one chance to prove himself

Mike Spofford, of Packers.com, reports Green Bay Packers DL Kenny Peterson (ankle), after missing the team's previous three exhibition games, needs to prove himself in the team's final game to earn a spot on the roster. "He's voiced his eagerness to get out there, and I'm excited he has the opportunity to play because I know it's been a long rehab for him with his ankle," head coach Mike McCarthy said. "I want to see him play. I know Kenny was a contributor last year and I want to see where he is."
