Cowboys | Vanderjagt hoping to play Thursday

Rob Philips, of DallasCowboys.com, reports Dallas Cowboys PK Mike Vanderjagt (groin) is hoping to play in the team's preseason finale Thursday, Aug. 31. Vanderjagt said, "I'm just trying to take three steps forward and not take two steps back. I'm trying to be smart. I'm trying to go full-go Monday [Aug. 28] and I expect to kick field goals and kickoffs on Thursday. That's my goal."
