Vikings | B. Johnson to start Friday; No. 2 QB not set yet for Friday
Judd Zulgad, of the Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress said Wednesday morning, Aug. 23, that QB Brad Johnson will start Friday, Aug. 25, against Baltimore and, "play longer than he has played." But Childress said no decision has been made about playing time behind Johnson. "We haven't talked about the next two just yet," he said. That would seem to indicate that Childress plans to use only two of his three backup quarterbacks.
