The Buffalo News reports the hiring of Kevin Gilbride as the Buffalo Bills new offensive coordinator could have a direct bearing on QB Rob Johnson's future with the team. Gilbride and Johnson, who worked together in Jacksonville, have great admiration for each other. Johnson likes Gilbride's forceful personality. If Johnson is not taken in the expansion draft and if he were to accept a big pay cut in the final year of his contract, the Bills would reportedly take him back.
