NFL | Roaf would consider playing in 2007
Adam Teicher, of The Kansas City Star, reports retired OT Willie Roaf (Chiefs) spoke publicly Wednesday, Aug. 16, on ESPN2's "Cold Pizza," where he said conjecture the he just wanted to miss training camp was wrong. Roaf said, "I'm not one of those guys who's going to miss all the camp and then come back and play football. I don't think that's fair to my teammates and to the fans and everybody to do it like that. If I'm going to be there, I'm going to be there and be committed to the team." He added that he would consider returning to play in 2007. "I'm done right now. I can't say never say never. You know Deion (Sanders) came back. [Kansas City Chiefs OT] Kyle Turley came back later on. But this year, I'm done."
