Buccaneers | Barry focused on 2006 season
Ira Kaufman, of the Tampa Tribune, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebackers coach Joe Barry is focused on the 2006 season The team denied Barry permission to go to the Detroit Lions when Lions head coach Rod Marinelli sought Barry to be his defensive coordinator. " I'm a professional. My goal in 2006 is to be the best linebackers coach in the National Football League. After 2006, we'll take it from there. If something happens for me in the future somewhere else, great. If not, I love Tampa. I'm in no hurry to get out of here."
