Cowboys | Zimmer understands the team's defense more

Nick Eatman, of DallasCowboys.com, reports Dallas Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells believes defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer understands the team's defense more this year. Zimmer had to learn a new defensive scheme last year as the team switched from the 4-3 defense to a 3-4 scheme. Parcells said, "A big difference - I'd say he's much more comfortable. I think he'd tell you that. He's told me that five or six occasions. Conceptually, he understands the defense so much better than he did last year."
