Broncos | Sauerbrun fiercely loyal to Shanahan

The Associated Press reports suspended Denver Broncos P Todd Sauerbrun is fiercely loyal to head coach Mike Shanahan. Shanahan traded for Sauerbrun last season, amid talk of suspected steroid use. Sauerbrun added, "He treats you like a man. All the other coaches talk to you like you're 5 years old. I'm 33 years old and you're telling me I can't go out at night? I have a family, I'm a grown man, just like you. If (Shanahan) cut me tomorrow, I'd say, 'I must have really screwed up, that's the best coach I've ever been around in my whole life.' I'd like to stay here as long as Shanahan's here."
