Braves | C. Jones hits three consecutive homers

The Associated Press reports Atlanta Braves 3B Chipper Jones hit three consecutive home runs Aug. 14 against the Washington Nationals. It marked the first three-homer in game in Jones' career, and the first by any Braves player since Andruw Jones did it on Sept. 25, 2002, at Philadelphia. Chipper Jones hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning off Nationals SP Ramon Ortiz, a solo shot in the sixth off RP Ryan Wagner and a two-run shot into the upper deck in right in the eighth off RP Travis Hughes.
