Vikings | Team's linebackers improving in pass coverage
Mike Wobschall, of Vikings.com, reports the Minnesota Vikings' linebackers have improved in their pass coverage skills as the team switches to a cover-two defense. The linebackers have been responsible for covering the middle of the field and short, outside pass routes during seven-on-seven drills. LB Dontarrious Thomas said, "It's important for us as linebackers to be aware of the quarterback but also be aware of the pass routes underneath so we can defend those. We're still trying to get better, but right now we're doing a good job. There is always room to get better though, and that's what we're going to do."
