NFL | Police and courts: M. Martin

The Austin American-Statesman, citing Dallas TV station KDFW, reports former University of Texas DT Marco Martin has been charged with sexually assaulting a child, an incident that allegedly occurred in 1999 when the child was 6. Martin left the team after the 2005 season and declared for the NFL's supplemental draft this summer. He was not drafted. According to the TV report, Martin turned himself in to Dallas police Thursday, Aug, 10, on the sexual assault charge. Bail was set at $25,000.
