Vikings | Jackson adjusting quicker than expected

Kevin Seifert, of the Star-Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings QB Tarvaris Jackson is adjusting to the NFL faster than expected. He led the No. 2 offense down the field twice during practice Thursday, Aug. 10, and showed more poise than expected. Despite QB Mike McMahon's inconsistency, Jackson is not likely to compete for the No. 2 quarterback job. However, he appears to not be the long-term project he once appeared to be.
