Jaguars | Smith ready for head coaching job?

Vito Stellino, of the Florida Times-Union, reports Jacksonville Jaguars defensive coordinator Mike Smith appears to be ready for a head coaching job in the near future after the work he has done with the Jaguars' defense since 2003. "He has done one heck of a job with our defense and at some point will get consideration for a head coach,'' said head coach Jack Del Rio. "He's very diligent, very intelligent, extremely well organized and he communicates well.''
