Jets | Pope leaves camp; team thin on the defensive line

Rich Cimini, of the New York Daily News, reports New York Jets DT Monsanto Pope has left training camp. "Personal reasons," head coach Eric Mangini told the media, declining to elaborate. Pope's departure, coupled with DL Sione Pouha's knee injury, leaves the Jets somewhat thin on the interior of their defensive line.
