Chiefs | Law at practice Sunday

The Kansas City Chiefs official training camp site reports the Kansas City Chiefs held their first practice in pads Sunday, July 30, and CB Ty Law was in attendance. He was working with the starting defense opposite CB Patrick Surtain. Head coach Herman Edwards said of Law's first day, "He's a little rusty but he's only been here a day. The great part about him is that he's in good shape. His footwork and stuff will come. We don't want to wear him out on the first day." Law will be penciled in as the starting right cornerback. That means he will play out of position, away from the left side, where he has played his entire career.
