Giants | R. Johnson tests elbow
The Associated Press reports New York Giants QB Rob Johnson claims he can make all the throws 18 months after undergoing elbow surgery. Johnson added, "It's more in warmups, you kind of get a weird thought every once in a while, a fear that it might hurt. It doesn't hurt anymore, but it hurt for two years. You have to get rid of that. When you are in a 7-on-7, it's easier." His throws aren't as crisp as they were earlier in his career, but he has been throwing more lately than he has over the past year. Johnson added, "It gets sore. I am not going to lie. I got used to throwing three or four times a week and I'm doing that in a 24-hour period. It's tough for everyone."
