Chargers | Oben to miss the start of training camp

Kevin Acee, of the San Diego Union-Tribune, reports San Diego Chargers OT Roman Oben (foot) is not ready to practice yet. San Diego Chargers head coach Marty Schottenheimer plans to bring him along slowly during training camp. "I know Roman Oben has worked very hard," Schottenheimer said. "His sense is he will be ready to go (for the season opener)...We're going to be very conservative with Roman."
