Panthers | Carruth's son injured in car accident
Steve Lyttle, of the Charlotte Observer, reports the 6-year-old son of former Carolina Panthers WR Rae Carruth suffered minor injuries Friday night, June 30, when a van in which he was riding was struck by a motorist fleeing police. Chancellor Adams and his grandmother, Saundra Adams, were hurt when the fleeing motorist struck their minivan. Chancellor's mother, Cherica Adams, was shot while driving in her car in November 1999. She died a month later, after implicating her boyfriend, Carruth, in the shooting.
