Packers | Peterson could be on the hot seat

Rob Reischel, of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, reports Green Bay Packers DL Kenny Peterson could find himself off the team before the 2006 season starts. Peterson probably lacks the size to hold up at defensive tackle on a consistent basis and doesn't have the necessary speed to play defensive end. Peterson could become expendable if an interesting veteran is available late in training camp, but the team's current less-than-stellar group of defensive lineman could allow Peterson to remain with the team.
