Cardinals | Hunter adjusting to pace of NFL

Jim Gintonio, of the Arizona Republic, reports Arizona Cardinals CB Darrell Hunter is adjusting to the faster pace of the NFL after getting by on his talent with the mid-level Mid-American Conference. Defensive backs coach Richard Solomon said, "What he has to do is make up his mind that he really wants to be a football player and how important football is to him. He has the tools, the foot speed and good quickness, but he just has to play with a better tempo and have a higher sense of urgency to want to be a good football player." Hunter expected a difference between college and the NFL, but had no idea how different until he started practicing. Hunter added, "It's just a different game coming from college. Even practice, it's like 10 times faster than I even expected. I'm paying attention to detail, and that's way more important than it was in college. You just can't be an athlete and come out and play for these guys."
