Pete Dougherty, of PackersNews.com, reports Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson made a run at signing OG Ross Verba, who recently signed with the Detroit Lions. Thompson was unwilling to compete with the guaranteed money Detroit offered to Verba.
