Titans | Robertson receives award
Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans director of player development Marcus Robertson was recently presented the Winston and Shell Award for innovation and commitment to Player Development in the NFL. He received the award at the annual Player Development awards dinner in San Diego, where Titans administrative assistant Deana Cavanaugh was also recognized. Robertson was credited for his innovative ideas after the organization had a half-dozen off-the-field incidents involving players last off-season. Robertson and his staff created a "Ladies Summit," a three-part workshop designed to provide the wives and significant others of players both answers and assistance, along with providing ways they could be more involved.
