Bengals | D. Johnson pleased with start of camp
Geoff Hobson, of Bengals.com, reports Cincinnati Bengals QB Doug Johnson is happy with the way the team's camp is going after the release of QB Craig Krenzel and school commitments for QB Erik Meyer. With their absence, along with the inability of QB Carson Palmer (knee) to practice yet, Johnson and QB Anthony Wright are both getting more reps than they normally would. This allows them to gain a better understanding of the offense faster, since they are both new arrivals, and allows the team to evaluate the two better if Palmer should be unable to start the season.
