Texans | Team could have an interest in R. Smith

Jeff Legwold, of the Rocky Mountain News, reports the Houston Texans may have an interest in Denver Broncos assistant general manager Rick Smith, as a candidate to replace their current general manager Charley Casserly. Casserly is expected to part ways with the Texans as early as Wednesday, May 10. Smith has drawn interest from several teams the past two seasons. With longtime Broncos assistant coach Gary Kubiak now head coach in Houston, Smith has some familiarity with how the Texans plan to conduct their football business.
