Packers | Washington not in proper condition; held out of practice

Rob Demovsky, of, reports Green Bay Packers DT Donnell Washington has already landed in first-year head coach Mike McCarthy's doghouse. Washington was held out of minicamp practices Saturday, May 6, because the team was unhappy with his conditioning. He missed all of his rookie season, including the preseason games, due to a foot injury he sustained early in training camp. Last year, he was unimpressive during the preseason but made the 53-man roster. He was inactive for 15 of the 16 games.
