Colts | Team will find out mid-summer if Pope is available
Tom James, of the Tribune-Star, reports the Indianapolis Colts will likely have to wait until mid-summer to learn if LB Kendyll Pope will be available for training camp or the start of the 2006 season. Pope was suspended for the 2005 season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. Head coach Tony Dungy thinks there is a chance he will be back with the team and added, "So far, everything's going on track for that. But again that's not our decision. That will be up to the NFL on when they might reinstate. One year would be in July and that's what we're looking at. We're hoping that everything goes as well as it can in that one year."
