Giants | Team remains interested in Fiedler

The New York Daily News reports the New York Giants have remained in contact with agent Brian Levy regarding free agent QB Jay Fiedler (Jets), but they are waiting to see how he recovers from his shoulder injury before they consider signing him. He is expected to begin throwing later this month, according to Levy. The Giants are interested in bringing Fiedler to camp to compete with QB Tim Hasselbeck for the backup quarterback job.
