Bears | Police and courts: R. Manning Jr.
Roman Modrowski, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports Chicago Bears CB Ricky Manning Jr. still faces a civil suit from his alleged victim, Soroush Sabzi. Sabzi still is seeking medical attention to determine the extent of his injuries. Manning was arrested early Sunday on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon after a brawl at a Denny's in Los Angeles left Sabzi unconscious. Sabazi's attorney, Aviv Tuchman, said he's still investigating details of the incident, but he refuted a claim by Manning's agent that Manning left the restaurant before the attack. Tuchman said there was no provocation before the attack.
