Chargers | Reduced Demands
The San Diego Union Tribune reports that Chargers WR Bryan Still has reduced his contract demands, but the Chargers say they are no closer to an agreement with him today than they were when he walked out on them in April. According to Bobby Beathard of the Chargers, Still has two choices, either accept the one-year, $445,000 tender offer or sit out the season. "Bryan is only asking the Chargers to guarantee the minimum tender with incentives and consideration for a small signing bonus, small being less than $300,000," said his agent Rich Clark. "He's not pulling up to the back of the club's payroll department with an armored truck. He has come down considerably."
