Cardinals | NFL Draft preparations affecting Hakim negotiations

Darren Urban, of the East Valley Tribune, reports the Arizona Cardinals are deep into their NFL Draft evaluation process and that is slowing the negotiations with free agent WR Az-Zahir Hakim (Saints). Cardinals' vice president Rod Graves said the team does have interest in the receiver, but "nothing is imminent." Hakim's agent Chuck Price said, "due to the holiday weekend and the draft, negotiations have thus far produced little progress."
