Orioles | More on Morris

Updating an earlier item, the Associated Press' David Ginsburg reports Baltimore Orioles RP Cory Morris will be making his major league debut when he makes his first appearance for the Orioles in relief. The 27-year-old was originally taken in the 15th round of the 2001 amateur draft and has never pitched above Double-A ball. He had been in spring training with the Orioles, where he went 1-1 with a 5.27 ERA in seven outings. "He showed he can pitch a little bit," said Orioles manager Sam Perlozzo. "We're willing to give it a shot. He attacked hitters. He didn't show me he was afraid."
