NFL | Birkel works out at Pro Day

Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports St. Cloud State RB Matt Birkel measured a height of 5-9 1/4 and a weight of 213 pounds at his Pro Day. He ran the 40-yard dash with times of 4.54 seconds and 4.55 seconds while finishing the short shuttle in 4.19 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.36 seconds. He measured a 36-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-10 broad jump while completing 24 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.
