Giants | More on Brown
The Bergen Record reports New York Giants starting RB Gary Brown (concussion/bruises) is in fair condition. According to the NY Times, Brown is expected to be released from Williamsport (PA.) Hospital by today which is also his 30th birthday. He suffered bruises and lacerations along with a concussion, but nothing was broken and no internal injuries occurred. There is no indication that the injury will hamper Brown's return to the field when training camp opens on July 30 ... Giants Spokesman Pat Hanlon said "He has no broken bones or internals injuries ... at this point, he's pretty banged up, but we have every reason to believe he ought to be ready for training camp."
