Bills | Salary cap update

Mark Gaughan, of the Buffalo News, reports the Buffalo Bills are approximately $9.2 million under the salary cap after cutting DT Sam Adams, SS Lawyer Milloy, TE Mark Campbell and making tender offers to seven free agents. The releases of the veterans saved $7.3 million, but the offers to the free agents added $1.8 million. The $9.2 million total does not reflect the $2 million in space the team will need to sign their draft choices and approximately $2.5 million they will need for extra bonuses the players could achieve during the 2006 season. If the Bills are unable to restructure the contract of WR Eric Moulds, the team would have about $10 million in cap space for free agency.
