NCAA | Calhoun struggles in his 40s
Tom Silverstein and Bob McGinn, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, report Wisconsin RB Brian Calhoun struggled in his 40-yard dash tries at the NFL Combine. Calhoun ran his first 40-yard dash in 4.59 seconds and his second in 4.62. For Calhoun, who measured 5 feet 9 inches and weighed 201 pounds, it was an extremely disappointing showing. Now Calhoun will come under extreme pressure March 8, when Wisconsin conducts its annual pro timing day. Calhoun did catch the ball well in other workouts. "He caught the ball well," St. Louis Rams general manager Charley Armey said. "His interviews were good. He answered some questions that were out there. He came in here with the right attitude. He'll figure in the first day someplace."
