Bears | Team close to hiring Wilks

Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith is expected to hire Steven Wilks as the team's new secondary coach. Wilks is currently the defensive backs coach at the University of Washington. Wilks will replace Perry Fewell, who left after one season to become Dick Jauron's defensive coordinator with the Buffalo Bills.
